Haircolor: finally faded back up to an acceptable auburn.  I hated it so dark.  Whew!

So, lemme just say, we have gotten SO MUCH SNOW over the past few days, it's insane!  There's like, a foot and a half of snow out there, easily.  It looks like all of Iowa City if covered in a thick layer of marshmallow fluff.  I'll try and take a picture later and show you.  It's seriously crazy.  (What in the heck are we doing here?!?!  Ha!) 

We watched Almost Famous last night.  Believe it or not, Alex had never seen it.  And oh, man--that movie is so freaking good.  I'd forgotten how great it was.  Neither of us wanted it to end.  I highly recommend you go out and rent this movie (or download it or do whatever people do these days) and watch it again (or for the first time)--it'll make you feel like a teenager again.  It's such a fun ride. 

I see so few films anymore that really move me or affect me or don't offend me too much--or that can even keep me entertained for more than the first ten minutes.  But seriously, watching this film last night renewed my faith in movies.  It reminded me how GOOD films can actually be when they're made with such care.  Cameron Crowe is amazing.  And his are the kind of films I want to be in. 

Now if I could just figure out how to get somebody to give me a chance...  ;)
