In honor of Sister Suzy's birthday, I thought I'd post this awesome picture from last weekend, of her sitting on our couch reading "Buff Brides." She's getting married in Greece in September and has been getting super buff in preparation for the big day. Happy Birthday, Sissy! (...and she wasn't even flexing!)
As for me, I really should be packing, as our movers are coming to pick up our lives on Sunday morning. Instead I sit here blogging away, and am going to get my hair done in a couple hours, then go out for a happy hour with some girlfriends, and probably dinner with some other friends after that. Sometimes I put off things that aren't quite so fun--like packing.
Alex's band, The Damnwells, is playing a (SOLD OUT!) show tonight at the Mercury Lounge in New York City. I was supposed to go with him and sing with the full band for the first time ever, but we ended up not being able to afford to both go. Alex is playing around in the City for four days and I get to stay home and pack--hooray! ...So I think I deserve a little time to myself today. ;)
