Hollywoodland or Bust
There's a freeway running through the yard...two of them, actually.

Okay, so I've figured it out.  There are two ways I can post blogs so that you can read them.  I have to post one way if I want to include a picture--but that way has a glitch that disables the comment feature for some reason (Yahoo says they're "working on" this, but I can tell you that it's been an issue for several months now, so they must not be working on it very hard!  ha.)  If I post the other way, so that you can comment on it, I can't include a picture due to another glitch.  So yeah--the moral of this story is...if one of my blog entries includes an awesome picture of Alex, Ozzy, me, or any number of other fabulous folks, don't even try to comment on it--you will only end up frustrated.  :)

SO.  Tonight was the Mason Jennings show, and it was lots of fun.  We played first of three, so we started about four minutes after the doors were opened (while everyone was getting seated), and they didn't even dim the house lights for us--BUT the show itself was awesome.  Everyone at the theater was super nice, the venue was beautiful, and the music was incredible.  It was an honor to be on this bill with such talented musicians.  Mason and his friend Haley (the other opening act) were so nice, and we talked about doing a show in Minneapolis soon.  Alex and Mason were reunited after six years (they toured together long, long ago), and a good time was had by all.

Now, I'm off to bed to rest up for an audition tomorrow morning and rehearsal tomorrow afternoon.  It's snowing out and everything looks so beautiful...
